BBQ Pork Spare Ribs with Spices









Ingredients
Spices and Seasonings
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp dry sage
juice of 1 lemon
dash of garlic salt
dash of pepper
dash of onion powder
dash of chilli flakes


Sauce for basting
1/2 cup Kraft original barbecue sauce
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp tobasco sauce 





Method
  1. Marinate pork ribs with spices and seasonings for 15 minutes or more.
  2. Preheat weber grill on high for 5 minutes.  Place two layers of aluminium foil in the centre of the grill.  Place trivet on top of the foil and arrange the pork ribs on the trivet.
  3. Place a metal bowl of water inside the grill.
  4. Cover and grill for 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours between 275 to 300 degrees F (low heat).
  5. Remove cover and switch to high heat.
  6. Place pork ribs directly on the grill and cook for 10 minutes.  At the same time, heat up the sauce in a small metal plate.
  7. Switch to medium heat and baste ribs with barbecue sauce mix and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes.
  8. Drizzle sauce over grilled pork ribs and serve warm.
